This is a total THROWBACK wedding all the way back to May of 2018... YES 2018. Why am I just now posting it? Well, since I second shot this wedding I didn't get to edit and show off my work since Ben & Shelby's main photographer (who is a DEAR friend of mine) Sufia was the star of the show and is kick ass at what she does alone, so I was there to mainly assist, be detail oriented, be a hype woman and occasionally second shoot behind her. Which I was totally cool with - we love hanging out and having a buddy with us on a long wedding day. And well, now that I'm beyond bored in Covid quarantine, and I still had the RAW files I said why the hell not? Plus I wanted to see how much my editing style has grown - and can I just say WOW..... Also, I found a new tool that helped me immensely on Lightroom and I'm upset I just now found out about it, FROM A TIKTOK none the less... Better late than never right? Editing weddings will never be the same! Anyways, I still remember this day like yesterday. In true Floridian Spring tradition, it POURED the majority of the day. Which didn't stop these High School Sweethearts from enjoying their beautiful wedding day. The wedding coordinators took to action and made the reception space the ceremony space, then remade it into the reception in no time. Magical beings those girls were! Their friends and family came out with full force of love and support for these newlyweds and PARTIED until they got kicked out, which we loved! I've never seen a crowd be so hype for dancing and partying it up. Apopka crowd at it's finest! But once everyone left the room, Ben and Shelby got their last dance, all by themselves, soaking in the last few minutes of their wedding day. And that had to have been the most calm, yet beautiful part of the day. The day was full of laughter, celebration, and a lot - and I mean A LOT of emotions! But the love we felt that day surrounding the newlyweds was undeniable. Lastly from a personal POV - I've known Ben and Shelby since high school and I've seen their relationship blossom from a new couple, to engaged, to husband and wife, and there's nothing like it. Truly honored to have been a small part of their day along with friends and amazing vendors who made it all possible!
