On November 12, 2022 I had the honor to not only witness these two lovebirds tie the knot, but photograph the whole day. And what a fun day it was! My second shooter Tony and I took the trip out to Wildwood to shoot this beautiful wedding at the parents of the Brides brand new home. So a HUGE thank you to the Ballin family for hosting all of us at your beautiful home!!
Tony and I got there and was immediately greeted by the groom and groomsmen setting up the ceremony space in the backyard, with beers in hand of course. It's always fun shooting a wedding when you've known the couple, and half of the wedding party since you were kids, so it was like a cute little reunion before we started working. Then we went inside to check on the girls and as they were finishing getting ready I noticed they were watching "Dirty Dancing" , which really just set up the vibe for the night!!
We got to shoot two first looks, one with the father of the bride, and one for Harrison and Blair. Both were precious, but Blairs dad had us all in tears!! Blair told us her dad had been emotional all week, and that he would be the first one to cry, and he proved her right! So freaking sweet.
The reception started and I knew once Harrison and his moms dance started, there wasn't going to be a dry eye around. Whenever "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts played on the radio when we were growing up, Vicky always told us that was her song with Harrison, and he listened... Once it started playing the tears fell. It was so sweet.
Then the real party started later - watching everyone dance their hearts out, and sing at the top of their lungs, it was A+ entertainment. All in all, the whole day was filled with tons of laugher, a few tears were shed, lots of beer was drank, and of course the Florida Gators football game was playing at the Ballin bar!
I just wanted to thank Harrison and Blair again for trusting Tony and I to capture their special day, and CHEERS to Mr & Mrs Cohen!!
